Travel News wire… The main stadium for the London 2012 Olympics will have a massive red steel sculpture nearby, designed by world-famous Indian designer Anish Kapoor. The world's largest steel company, ArcelorMittal, is financing most of the £23million project. The sculpture, which Kapoor designed along with Cecil Balmond, will be 35 stories tall.

When we say that a person or a company has deep pockets, we mean that they have a lot of money and they can use that money for whatever they wish. They can spend millions of dollars without worrying.

Prescription drug abuse

Doctor: "Mrs. Sloan, I have to warn you that some patients may have adverse reactions to this drug, and in some rare cases there can be a severe adverse reaction such as allergic shock."

The phrase "severe adverse reaction" means a serious side effect of a drug or treatment, which could even include danger of death. Allergic shock is one of these reactions.

Dear Mr. Thompson:

"Our drug company has spent a great deal of money researching new drugs, but perhaps we should also think about using existing drugs in new ways. We have to think outside of the box."

The phrase "think outside of the box" means to look at an issue in a new, creative way, outside of the old rules and habits. Instead of choosing between two old options, we might be able to think of many new solutions to a problem.
